Grove Newsletter: August 2025

Featured Resource

As a network, we are committed to starting new churches together because new churches are the best way to reach unbelievers with the gospel.

As existing churches share and show the gospel, more and more people are introduced to the good news of Jesus Christ, and then some of them will  be sent to areas needing new churches. Perhaps you've thought of evangelism as more of a solo sport, yet in the Scriptures it is best conceived as a team endeavor. Churches work together to evangelize under reached areas.

Grove Pastors Lunch

Every other month, the lead pastors and available elders from Grove churches gather for lunch to support each other and engage in meaningful theological conversations. If you are one of the pastors at your church and are interested in learning more about Grove, you are also welcome to attend. Pencil in noon on September 16th at Whitton Avenue Bible Church, where Andrew Gutierrez (Canyon Bible Church) will lead a conversation about the pastor and personal prayer.

Prayer Requests

We are interviewing a prospective planter interested in being the next Grove plant. Pray for wisdom and clarity.

Pray for all eleven existing Grove churches to grow in love for God, each other, and the lost this fall.

Praise God for Mosaic Mesa as they've found a new place to meet that will allow them to save  money and works better for their needs. They appreciate your prayers for the move. In addition, Mosaic is looking for a new worship leader. If you know of someone who would be interested feel free to encourage them to contact Pastor John. There will be a monthly stipend.
